Introduction of meeting attendees Discussion of tax issues with regards to lobbying by Bill Crow. Achievements for 2006 Attended Lobbying day for SBA Brief discussion of the day’s activities by Jackie Business cards designed and e-mailed by Jackie Malone 3 National TV shows contacted us (O’Reilly Factor, Fox 30 Days, and LOGO) Proxy voting via email and snail mail Key chains with new logo distributed to dues-paying members Increase in activity on iGive.com Newsletter sent out in spring Overseas interest in Portugal and Ghana Working relationships with nontraditional groups PDF purchase 4 mentions in books that were published More emails from people surfing the web More articles with PLAGAL in them Start of working on grant proposals Major donations received this year Attended San Francisco Pride for the first time Discussion and overview by Rick Hoffman Booklet written for PLAGAL by Mary Derr New brochure written Action Alert to GLBT groups forming alliances with pro-abortion groups. Good response by members. Setbacks Winter newsletter was not sent out Due to illness, things did not get out in timely manner Banner – handmade, will be done by the March Café Press – items for sale on Café Press were not completed Fundraising letter not sent out Number of members dropped Mid-year meeting not a success Lack of west coast response for Walk for Life Lack of response when asking for help with banner design and Nomination of pride events and getting prolife college Database. Spanish brochures not completed.
